Brief Description

FREE SHIPPING! This is a 1950's Gretsch Synchromatic model 100 arch top F-hole guitar in fair shape. It is a worn player, but it does not cost much for being vintage. It has a big 16 wide lower bout and a nice woody tone. There has been some binding replaced and the tailpiece is not original, as well as the machine heads. It plays fairly well but the action is a little high but it could be lowered by shaving down the rosewood bridge and saddle. The machine heads work OK but it would benefit from a new set of tuners. The guitar is pretty loud and has big thick frets and a somewhat chunky neck. This guitar could play better if you did these improvements but it can be played as is. It is cool looking and the bridge is original and there are no cracks on the body or top. The top is carved spruce and the back is laminate maple. We have a money back 3-day inspection period after receiving the guitar minus a $50 original shipping fee to cover the free shipping that we offer and buyer is responsible for return shipping.
